It was chances galore, but conversions? Nada.

Toledo Villa FC could not find the back of the net on Saturday night at home, but goalkeeper Jordaine Jaeger stopped the few shots on goal that visiting Dayton mustered for a clean sheet in a 0-0 draw.
The draw gives Toledo (3-2-2) another point in what seems to be a race to second place and a berth in the USL2 playoffs as Fort Wayne (6-0-2) has dominated with 20 points so far and sits above Toledo (11, 1.57 points per match) and Cleveland Force SC (12, 1.50).
Toledo found some chances in the first six minutes because of errors made by the Dayton defense. Yet Villa could not find a way to connect on more than a few easy rolls into the hands of Dayton keeper Guilherme Pipolo.
It seemed that Toledo was able to score in the 26th, as Cam Territo led a nifty pass into the feet of Zack Mowka, but the linesman ruled Mowka was a step offside despite his protests. Minutes later Jacobo Sanfeliu — who had scored in five straight matches — raced in alone on another break, but his strong shot carried just wide of the goal, making the net flutter in a way that made it look like a goal. Mowka and Sanfeliu each had other attempts on net over the next several minutes as Toledo kept teasing that they would break through to take the lead. But at halftime, the match remained scoreless.
It was an atypical Starting XI for the match as Toledo saw a few players sit due to health concerns and knowing that a match with Buffalo just three days later would have to happen, which put players like Alex Matthews and Brady Horn into the lineup while Kalen Nichols and Jah'Moises Corona for the first time this season.
Toledo missed capitalizing in the 72nd minute as Terry had a great opportunity in the box but was unable to get the ball on goal while a corner and ensuing free kick in the 79th both could not give them the lead.
In the 82nd, Jager needed to be called upon to ensure a draw as he made a great save after a corner kick took a flick in front and he dove to make the save.
Toledo travels to Buffalo on Tuesday, June 27. Villa was a 4-1 victor in Buffalo on June 10.
